Job Requirements/Description

Salary: £12 per hour (plus an additional 12.07% annual leave payment)

Hours: Relief 8 hours guaranteed weekly

Location: Truro

Where you would be working

As a Support Worker you would be responsible for working across two of our supported living services in Truro. Here at United Response we are passionate about providing person-centred support, what that means is that your role will change depending on what the people we support want to do. The two individuals we support in Radstock are both great characters who have a mixture of hobbies and interests which Support Workers need to encourage.

Your role

As a Support Worker you will be responsible for:

  • Providing active support
  • Assisting with jobs around the house
  • Accompanying the people we support on leisure trips
  • Dealing with some behaviours that challenge
  • Building rapport with the people we support
