Female Support Worker

We are currently recruiting Support Workers to support a young adult within the Penryn area.

Role Description

• Provide support during the good times and the difficult periods our individual faces in my daily life.
• Have a good understanding of Autism / Mental Health and how this can impact daily living or have working with in a mental health setting
• Be a positive advocate for me.

• Be prepared to motivate me in a supportive manner
• Be patient and understanding encourage me on the difficult days
• Have a fun and kind personality who will go on adventures
• Work with me to solve issues and overcome day to day tasks
• Come to work to “Get to know me” as that is what is needed to support me
• Work as part of the team who deliver amazing person-centred care
• Think outside the box
• Be able to have a laugh and joke but have set standards and boundaries
• Be able to work with my family as I live with them
• Be interested in/or willing to learn about Paddle boarding, nails and beauty, arts and crafts
• Be a animal person as we have a dog and 2 cats

Schedule:

• Day shift: 09:00 to 16:00 (Monday to Friday)
• Waking Nights: 22:00 to 09:00 (7 days a week)
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
• Overtime

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (must)
