Online Retail Assistant

Location: Online Warehouse, Kiln Farm

Days: Monday to Friday

Hours: Between 9.30am and 4.30pm (we kindly ask for a minimum commitment of 2hrs)

Working as part of our online retail team, you’ll be both a team player and be able to use your own initiative. We’re looking for volunteers to list items on our online shops, so an interest in or knowledge of online shopping platforms, vintage items, bric-a-brac, antiques and collectables is desirable but not essential and you’ll need to happy using technology.

Main purpose of this volunteer role:

To identify, sort and organise donated items for online listing on our eBay, Depop and Vestiaire Collection shops.

Key Tasks:

• Identify desirable and commercial items to sell online
• Upload and edit photographs in preparation for listing
• Research items online to find accurate pricing and descriptions
• List/publish items for sale on the Willen sites using simple software tools
• Store listed items in the appropriate locations
• Adhere to set standards and offer excellent customer service within an e-commerce environment
• Help to keep storage areas clean, tidy and organised
• Follow all stock control procedures
• Carry out any other tasks as reasonably required
• Complete all necessary mandatory training
• Follow Hospice policies and procedures
• Maintain confidentiality at all times
