Hourly rate:

£25.58 pay rate

£32.20 umbrella/ltd rate

Contract: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Primary purpose of the job:

Providing a professional social work service that demonstrates a full understanding and application of statutory social care responsibilities and duties as specified in national legislation and guidance, as well as in compliance with organisational rules and procedures, is one of the requirements for the position.

Support the provision of strengths-based, outcome-focused services that prioritise adult protection, recovery facilitation, and independence.

Essential

• Experience of effective collaborative and multi-agency working to support families.
• Experience of delivering outreach and home-based support to families to address areas of identified need.
• Ability to communicate effectively, using good written and verbal skills with families, other professions, and multi-disciplinary organisations in a wide range situation and at different levels.
• Ability to maintain accurate, reflective records in accordance with Recording with Care guidelines.
• Work flexibly to support the overall operation of the Service.
• Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK.
• Hold a full UK license.
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work.

Desirable

• Ability to collaborate effectively and work in partnership with parents and professionals.
• Experience of delivering practical parenting strategies.
• Candidates must hold a full UK licence and have access to a car and laptop.
