Are you a Qualified Social Worker with experience working within an Mental Health team?

Westminster City Council are looking to expand their current team with a dedicated Social Worker looking for an opportunity to join a well-structured and organised team. This Mental Health role will be for an initial 3-6 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstance and your performance. Rate dependent on experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Complete assessments under the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005
• Formulate risk assessments around harm to self or others
• Working with Vulnerable Adults with Mental Health
• Care management
• Report writing and assessment
• Carrying a caseload of service users
• Managing complex cases
• Liaising with other professional bodies whilst working within the Mental Health Act
• Safeguarding Adults
• Self-directed support / personal budgets

Experience preferred:

• Post qualifying experience of working within a Qualified Social Worker - Mental Health Team within the UK Social Care industry.

Minimum Requirements:

• HCPC Registration
• 1 year post qualifying experience within UK
• Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
• Eligibility to work in the UK
