Prospect Researcher - Fundraising Experience Needed - Prestigious Charity - Kent / Hybrid - up to £45K (DoE) + benefits

We re on the hunt for an experienced Prospect Researcher, with knowledge and experience across all fundraising disciplines community / capital / trust etc, to join the fundraising team of a prestigious national charity in their office in Kent.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a renowned charity in a role that will include arranging high profile / value donor visits and charity tours, organising events including dinners, drinks receptions and meetings, and extensive prospect research.

Proven success in building solid relationships and a focused and forensic-style approach to information gathering and prospect research, together with excellent organisation and project management skills, will ensure you excel in this role.

Please be aware, this is predominantly an office based role, but hybrid working will be available and flexibility will be required to attend events.

Key responsibilities as the Prospect Researcher will include:

• Arranging donor visits and charity tours
• Preparing presentations and internal briefings
• Extensive research on prospects (individuals, companies and charitable trusts and foundations), ensuring high quality information is collated
• Recording and tracking donor gifts
• Organising events including dinners, drinks receptions and meetings
• Providing high quality donor stewardship, relationship and account management across all activities
• Evaluating each event and providing recommendations for future events
• Liaising with senior stakeholders
• Assisting with donor and stakeholder communications
• Sending thank yous to donors
• Maintaining CRM database (Raiser s Edge)

What we re looking for:

• Demonstrable success in a target-driven fundraising role
• Sound knowledge and experience across all fundraising disciplines
• Charity / fundraising event organisation experience
• Impeccable research and information gathering skills
• Confident interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to vary written communication styles
• Commercial awareness and good business acumen
• Experienced in using CRM databases (Raiser s Edge advantageous)
• IT literate with strong MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc)
• Full, valid driving licence and the ability to drive / travel to meetings and events as required
