About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified Social Worker to join our Child Protection team in Nottinghamshire. This is a challenging but rewarding role where you will work with vulnerable children and families to protect them from harm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
• Develop and implement support plans to safeguard children and promote their well-being.
• Work with other agencies to coordinate services and ensure a multi-agency approach.
• Attend court hearings and other legal proceedings as required.
• Provide guidance and support to families.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records.

Essential Requirements:

• Degree in Social Work
• Registration with Social Work England
• Experience working with children and families
• Knowledge of child protection legislation and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Desirable Requirements:

• Experience working in a child protection team
• Knowledge of the local area
