About the role

As the Children’s Outreach Worker, you will support All Souls Primary School spiritually.

You also enable pastoral support within the context of the church, aligning with its Christian ethos and creating an accessible pathway from the school to the church for all families. You will work in the 0-18s ministry team.

You will also be part of one of All Souls’ congregational teams. A successful enhanced DBS disclosure is a must and there is a genuine occupational requirement for you to be a Christian.

Duties and Responsibilities 

Mentoring and Training:

• Regular mentoring and relevant training provided by the Senior Minister (0-18).

School Engagement:

• Plan and lead a programme of assemblies for weekly collective worship, involving other members of the 0-18 team as necessary.
• Develop and run school Bible Clubs.
• Plan and execute a week-long Holiday Bible Club during February half-term.
• Lead and oversee the Transforming Lives for Good (TLG) Programme with ASLP church members.
• Support school events such as Christmas, Easter, and Harvest services.

Youth Transition:

• Create a programme that transitions Year 6 children to the AS Youth Group.
