Job Requirements/Description

EarthPercent are seeking to appoint a Charity Secretary to our Board of Trustees, to work alongside the Chair and to act as board secretary for the Trustee Board and its sub-committees.

The Secretary should have experience of charity governance, with a particular interest in climate and environmental issues. We are looking for someone with excellent organisational and administrative skills, up-to-date knowledge of charity law and compliance and who can commit the time to support the efficient and effective running of the charity. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with senior-level governance experience, who is passionate about music and protecting our planet.

About Us

EarthPercent is a registered charity in England and Wales (1188391) and a company limited by guarantee in England and Wales (12407439). It was launched in April 2021 to raise money from the music industry in support of the climate movement in order to contribute to a just and green future for all, as well as to significantly reduce the industry’s impact on the planet.

EarthPercent seeks to include the planet as a stakeholder in music by asking artists, companies and individuals to commit a small percentage of their revenue to EarthPercent. EarthPercent then distributes this money to the most impactful organisations working on the climate and nature crises with the guidance of an advisory panel of climate experts, leading scientists and youth activists.
