The Vacancy

The catering team play an important part in our patient care, and we are looking for approachable, friendly and efficient individuals to join us on a flexible basis to help cover busy periods and holidays in our Telford and/or Shrewsbury hospice kitchens.

As a catering assistant you will prepare quality, tasty and nutritious meals for patients, families, visitors and staff and with your passion for food you will also prepare bakes for meetings, functions and our Refresh Café.

With your flexible can-do attitude you will help with general kitchen duties, maintaining high levels of cleanliness, food safety standards and ensure all hygiene regulations are followed.

In this role you will make a real difference as it’s the personal touches that count. With your great interpersonal skills and desire to provide the best possible service, you and the team will consider dietary requirements and individual patient preferences.
