We’re looking for individuals with catering experience with a can-do attitude and a desire to help someone live a full life!
This inspiring and interesting role combines the opportunity to utilise and develop your catering experience with empowering people with a learning disability to reach their goal of achieving paid employment.
The Hatch at Grimsbury Farm (in Kingswood, Bristol) offers employment training to people with learning disabilities who want a career in catering or hospitality.
The support you provide will be centred around each person’s values, preferences and needs, working a range of hours across 7 days.

What we're looking for:
- Previous catering experience.
- Passion for hospitality.
- Great customer care skills.
- Great food service skills.
- Experience in food preparation.
- Experience in baking.
- Experience in food hygiene practices.
Your responsibilities:
- Have good communication skills.
- Have a positive and patient approach.
- Be resilient and respect people’s differences.
- Able to build relationships based on trust, respect and consideration.
- A catering qualification or catering experience in a commercial / business setting.
- Experience of working in or running a small business is desirable.
- Understanding and knowledge of employment support and employment training for people with learning disabilities will be an advantage.
