Social Worker - High-Cost Review Project - Learning Disabilities & Autism

Our client, Cambridgeshire County Council, is seeking an agency social worker for its High-Cost Review Project team.

The role will last until end of December at least.

And is paid @ £38 per hour.

The role will involve the following:

• We are seeking an experienced and motivated Locum Social Worker who will work closely with the Senior Social Worker and the Contracts and Brokerage Team to deliver high-quality, person-centred support within a specialist service.
• This role sits within a county-wide specialist team working with adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism (LD&A).
• A key focus of the role is reviewing complex and high-cost care packages to ensure they are delivering positive outcomes, remain proportionate to need, and represent good value for public resources.
• Will need to be able to travel around Cambridgeshire for visits.
• No set office days currently, however this may change to 1 day a week in the office base

Requirements of the role:

• Qualified Social Worker
• Fully Social Work England registered
• Must have significant post-qualified experience in adult social care
• Must have significant experience of working with adults with Learning Disability
• Ideal candidate will have some project work experience
