Relief Worker

Salary: £10.50 per hour (day shifts), £11.50 per hour (Waking night shifts) and £75 per shift (Sleep-in)

We have ongoing opportunities for new colleagues to join us in our supported housing projects in central Bristol, Patchway and Yate. Flexible hours, choice of shifts across a range of sites, including days, evenings, weekends, waking nights and sleep-in nights. If you have the desire to support young people and to develop excellent support and housing management experience, then we want to hear from you.

Who are we?

We are a leading youth homelessness charity based in the Southwest, working with over 1,500 young people. What you will be doing:

• Confidently and passionately engaging with young people and supporting the work of the wider teams.
• Using problem solving and people skills to help manage challenging behaviour.
• Supporting the team in ensuring the property is clean, clear and rooms are ready for young people to move in to.
• By being vigilant and responsible, you will ensure the security of the building when on shift.
• By being empathetic and an enthusiastic part of the team, you will support young people, your colleagues, and the team in promoting and facilitating a positive rent culture. 
• You will be in 24 hours supported housing team and your supervisor will be the St Georges House / Woodleaze / Charles England House Managers/Team Leaders/Seniors.

The location: St Georges House (Central Bristol), Charles England House (Patchway) or Woodleaze (Yate – close to train station and major bus routes)
