Social Worker - Children with Disabilities - Brent Council

Our client, Brent Council, is seeking an agency Social Worker for its Children and Young People's service.

This role will last 3 months initially, paid in line with London/DFE pay rates.

The role will involve the following:

• Working with children and young people with disabilities
• Assessments of need
• Child in Need
• Child Protection
• Children in care
• Provision and review of care packages and short breaks
• Multi-disciplinary team working
• Hybrid working

Requirements of the role:

• Qualified Social Worker
• Fully Social Work England registered
• 3 years post-qualified experience in employment of a local authority (DFE rules)
• Significant post-qualified experience of children's social care social work
• Experience of working with children with disabilities
