Charity Co-ordinator

Veterans Outreach Support (VOS) provides welfare, wellbeing, mental health, and recovery services to veterans and their partners across Portsmouth, Hampshire, Isle of Wight and the wider Solent region. The charity is also a VALOUR-Recognised Centre, delivering support as part of the national VALOUR programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Diary management, correspondence, and travel planning for the CEO.
• Acting as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
• Providing secretariat support to the Board of Trustees and subcommittees.
• Coordinating team meetings, minutes, and action tracking.
• Leading business administration tasks including insurance renewals.
• Acting as Health & Safety lead (training provided).
• Supporting compliance with Charity Commission and Companies House.
• Assisting with finance, fundraising, grant applications and reporting.
• Supporting external communications and marketing.

About You

You will bring excellent communication skills, strong organisation, confidence working with senior stakeholders, and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365. You'll be comfortable managing multiple priorities and committed to confidentiality, GDPR, and inclusive practice.

Experience in the charity sector, HR, governance, fundraising, or veterans' support is desirable but not essential.
